Plan Year for Flexible Reimbursement Accounts Changes in July

Planning for medical expenses will be easier beginning in July of 2004.  That's when the plan year for Flexible Medical and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts and for your health benefits will be on the same cycle.

Previously, the plan year for Medical and Dependent Care accounts was the calendar year, from January through December.  Beginning in July 2004, these accounts will be on a fiscal year basis, from July through the following June, just as your health plan.
